I was surfing the Net that other day and found this Forum with very interesting comments
from different kind of people and was surpised that dating out of race could cause a new kind or wave of racisme, here is the link for all my member friends ;

In fact the title is innocent , I shall admit that I use to say this myself , missing the female solidarity among white women, we all speak from experience no matter how neutral we try to be for the
sake of peace and justice , knowing that there exceptions , that there horizons we haven't seen.
I guess this man wanted to express and somehow justifie why he was with an asian woman and
how it makes them feel when white people look at them with a bad look, so that's his right. But when you read more of the Blog you'll find many different people of different races and countries expressing furth and back why they date out of race, but same time they attack someone else .So dating out of race seems to bring a end of racisme but creates new one on the the other hand, that's weird. I just thought it so sad a woman says having doubts about her own brother not loving his children as much as he does, If the babies momma was of the same race ! The eyes of a aunt should look at nieces and nephews with love and also with respect for as they grow up with dignity !

That's on interesting subject, I guess most women in the western world areren't submissive anymore, and women who've been through a lot grew very strong, they just had to , to survive, and for them it's rather hard to give up the power as they know If the man failes she'll have to fix a bigger part of the damage as if she was by herself.
But I'd love to discuss that,In my Blog on BP I asked people about their definition of
submissivity, where does it start and where does it end ? keith give me your phone number and lets talk about, lol
I mean, we gotta give 100 percent at work, just like men, we're supposed to give another 100 percent at home like our mothers and grandmothers, now we can't give 100 ercent in the bedroom If we don't have a real man acting like a real man , wish means respecting and loving his wife. To me being submissive isn't to bear a man who starts yelling at me cuz he had had a bad day at work, both have to be in control when it goes about handling negative situation. It's the only way to preserve harmony !

I'm just like you , I love to see happy peole, there so much sad things going on in this world that it feels good to se happy people even on a day when you aren't really happy yourself.
I spent my vacations of 2007 and 2008 in Jamaica where I made friends among to Resort staff and american tourists. I met many mixed couples there, black men with white wifes and , and black women with white men, and I must say that these couples were radiating something that was just amazing , something invisible that glued them together, you could feel their love even after 25 yrs of marriage. Now LIL Bittz..I'm waiting for Keiths statement about submissive women :o) most of european women would run off over this adjectiv but for myself I love to spoil a man and treat him like he was a God, but he MUST BE the God in any situation :o) I guess there is a natural rule..you need to be in control of yourself in order to take control over someone else and you cannot be just a taker.. you gotta give as well .. go ahead Keith, WE ARE WAITING of the words of a GOD ;o)))

YOU my sistah you're already in my heart, we do have the same mindset when it goes about relationship and humanity, and I agree with you, what counts is one man, YOUR MAN, I have no problem either to stay away from them , even for years, my Quote is : Either I can get what I want and need ,or it's just nothing at all. :o)

Hi Pia,

Many years ago I met and fell in love with a very fair skinned Latina woman who forced me to face my own feelings bout race and interracial dating. Before her I had never "dated" anyone outside my race and had a lifetime of influences telling me not to date outside my race. Circumstances puy Yvette and I together in a close working environment on a daily basis for about 6 weeks and she became a great friend before I anyways had even a thought of a relationship. We met and spent most of our time in New York and also traveled and worked in many other cities. We got the stares but our love was able to transcend all that and was perhaps made stronger because of it.

I had anxiety about introducing her to my family and children but my love for her was enough to overcome that. Unfortunately it didn't last but race was never an issue between us. It's kind of amazing that as we discussed this, she was amazed that I even carried concerns about race and one of the things I admired about her was that she absolutely did not.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful love story , one of my cyberfriends who retired from the NYCPD told me about a similar experience with a Italian Lady!
and there is a phrase of you guys I'm blocking on it and it is ;" We got the stares"
Clyde told me just the same ...and to me it reflects the bitter KKK flavour of america,and it's a sign of the "leftover" of americas " racial segregation"
I read not long ago that we have a higher percentage of women mixing with black
men here In europe than you over there in the USA,now I'm not going to discuss how many sham marriages could be among this percentage. But I guess that although we do carry the evil heritage of the colonial politic we progressed somehow faster than the US when it comes to races ( I'm not going to talk about clash of religion , that would be another subject / topic to discuss) but here a lil link for ppl who'd like to know what's going on on my side, there is a whole
BIG problem and BIG danger for our cultural and political identity( as a nation) ; behind this !!!

Honestly :o) I'm a very peaceloving person and devoted to the people I love,
passionately caring and forgiving, but I'm also a passionate rebel and If I had a relationship out of race I'd not fear any battlefield to defend my love.
I must admit I had some interesting verbal fights :o) I can be so evil ;o),
with white american people who are SOOOO RELIGIOUS , and so racist against black people that you don't know what they practice more intensely,
:o) yes really,lol, where do I take the right to recall them on what and who was based the american economy and for that who has even more the right to call themself americans ,more than those who just came , settled , killed and took possession , today It'd be considerated as criminal, as crime against humanity,
and yes how can I dare to ask If they can sleep at night after praying at church for their own ass when in fact their poisened soul is full of hate, unless God was drunk or high he wouldn't appreciate anyway, ohh and yes tell them about the
Penis envy and they'd love to strangulate you with their both hands lol
now no need to talk about the black men who served his country in the military
and who were send first to the front and all the "situations " they had to bear inside the military,or the "double bad treatment" after coming back from NAM, they don't wanna know or hear about, mostly only militaries are familiar to the topic.

but stories like yours with your Latina Lady are always a stimulus for the brain,
and it's great you keep in your heart such a wonderful memory !
What I'd like to hear from people who date out of race is ; If inside the relationship they had to face conflicts caused by the cultural difference and not the racisme around them, Like I had to face with my EX-husband who was a mix of Italian and Yugoslavian , and each ethnicity has its own culture , habits and live their relationships with different mindsets ...If we had just been one green and the other one blue ;o) we'd have had lesser, smaller issues :o
But a very beautiful , healty and very intelligent daughter came out of this union !
