9 Months of Peace…Being Born Hasn’t Been Relieving

‘Tis a fallacy, lost in the illusions of words...
Only to explain the content of my brain and to be eluded…
Because of the context that my words contain.
Yet, I still can’t refrain,
The words must be released…
Even if in vain.
The chaos enveloped within can no longer remain.
Just join me in my crusade, as I release my pain…

Hard mellow tear drops fill my soul…
As the rage on my page channels my flow.
Memories of happiness,
I no longer know…
The outcast of my people…
So there is no home for me to go.
Shamed, because of my insight.
Hated, for my theory that White isn’t right.
Nor do I desire to emulate, imitate “their” vision of life.
“I am, because we are, therefore I am”.
Success (their form) and money play a trivial role in my plan.
I search for truth…
And to be what God has planned for me.
I have given up on the acceptance of others,
For Chris is Chris, which means there is only one person I can be.
You see…
I have no culture to cling.
National anthem to sing.
No flag to praise…and as a matter of fact…
The place where I was born sees me only as a color.
The color “Black”.
Even before that, my destiny was checked…
As I lay in my mothers’ womb…
With my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck.
Afraid of that first breath,
For I knew where the next step would lead me…
Stuck in an illusive world,
Where “they” use many descriptive words for deceiving.
Not to mention, the man-made ambush…
Of having my people believing that obtaining money…
Is the only reason for over achieving.
I say…
Nine months of peace, being born hasn’t been relieving.
