RIVER

RIVER
Twisting and turning like a river I flow.
Wherever life takes me , I go.
what's around the next bend?
I don't know.
But like a river, I continue to flow.
Sudden turns and changes place obstacles in my path,
But nothing stops my flow,
Bad weather and circustances beyond my control
Sometimes makes my passage slow,
Still, like a river, I continue to flow.
Sometimes the current is strong,
Sometimes it's weak,
Sometimes I even begin to sink
I never hit bottom,
I never get stuck
I never get stopped by river bottom muck
And like a river, I continue to flow.
On and on I go
On and on I flow
On and on like a river I flow
Nothing can stop me
I just keep moving
I just keep flowing
Just like a river, I keep on going
I can't stop, I won't stop
Because if I do - I die
So like a river I will continue to flow - forever
